| Haluska, a native of Carroll, IA has started every game in his college career. He leads the Big Ten Conference in scoring (20.4), while averaging 4.6 rebounds a game. He ranks among Big Ten leaders in free throw percentage (87.7%), three-point field goals per game (2.9) and steals (1.4). He has scored 1,797 career points and ranks 11th in career scoring at Iowa with 1,513 points.
Earlier this season he was the recipient of the 2006-07 Anson Mount Scholar/Athlete Award, earning a $5,000 donation to the University of Iowa general scholarship fund. He was also on the Watch List for the John R. Wooden all-America team. He earned academic all-Big Ten honors as both a sophomore and junior. Haluska earned CoSIDA academic all-America honors a year ago and his name is on the national ballot for that honor again this season. |

Iowa's nine-game win streak matched the best streak for an Iowa team under Alford, as the Hawkeyes opened the 2000-01 season with nine straight wins.
