| Andy Roddick rolled German Nicolas Kiefer 6-2, 6-3 Sunday, becoming first man to repeat as winner at the RCA Championships since Pete Sampras more than a decade ago.
The American world No. 2 joined Sampras as a back-to-back winner as he piled on three aces in the concluding game to complete a 59-minute rout of his German opponent. Boris Becker also doubled up, winning in 1988 and 1990. "I"m the low man on that totem pole," said Roddick. "It's cool to accomplish things and be able to throw out names and stats like that. It's pretty humbling for me." |

| More RCA Championship Tennis News: |
| The RCA Championships traces its roots back to a local tennis haven in 1920 when the Woodstock Country Club held the Western Open Championships for the first time. During the early years of the tournament, the best local players, and many nationally ranked players came to Indianapolis to vie for the Western Open Championships title. When the Open Era of tennis was created in 1969 and tennis started to become more popular with players ranking among other professional athletes, Woodstock became home to the nationally recognized U.S. Open Clay Court Championships. |
